This is my last week to teach preschool, so I decided to do something a little more daring. This week, we learned about electricity. I had a bunch of supplies from when I taught my fourth graders about circuits, so I used them for preschool. We learned about positive and negative charges. We played with magnets and then used a charged comb to pick up small pieces of paper. Finally, I gave each child either a small light bulb, a fan, or a buzzer and we used alligator clips and batteries to make them light up, buzz, or spin. I don't know how much they learned, but they really like science, so that is what is important right now.
