Wesley's Blessing and RSV

Wesley was blessed this last Sunday. We had a small photoshoot afterward and took some pictures of him in his blessing suit. He was being quite grumpy and it look several hours and a feeding to get him happy and then he promptly fell asleep! Oh well, we got a couple of good ones with his eyes open and the ones where he is peacefully sleeping are nice too.

Unfortunately, Wesley had a good reason for being fussy for the pictures. He has RSV. Six weeks of cabin fever, keeping him home from church and away from kids, and he still manages to get RSV. I guess that is what happens when you have older children. The doctor said his lungs are clear, so hopefully they will stay that way. He has had a cough for over a week, so hopefully we are at the end of it.

I heard him coughing on Sunday. Hopefully it's almost over like you said. Sorry it's trapping you in your house a little longer. Let me know if you need anything.

Thanks Shawnie. Yeah, cabin fever is really getting to me about now. I'm going to have to get Ben to watch the kids tomorrow night so I can do some shopping.

Well, at least you caught it early and he hasn't had to go to the hospital!
Thanks again for having us!

It was so fun to have you over! Hopefully he will get better and we can avoid any hospital stays.
