Ben's Job

Medhost decided that they did not want to offer Ben a position with them. That was a big disappointment for us because it was the best of the opportunities Ben has had lined up. Now he is in Florida interviewing with Tel-Tron. They have asked him to start on Monday. He will be flying out to Phoenix, Arizona all next week for a PM retreat. It should be fun and informative for Ben.

Because of this offer, Ben decided to decline the position he had with the Expo Group. The Tel-Tron position will provide him with Project Management experience that he needs to get his PMP certification and put him in a better position to acquire a higher paying job when the market firms up. The only disadvantage is that Tel-Tron will be paying Ben $20 thousand dollars less per year than his last job. This will make it impossible for us to provide independently for our needs even with me continuing to work. He will be traveling a lot with this job, but when he is not travelling, he will be working from home.

In short, Ben is employed but still looking for a better job. Thank you for your words of support and your prayers. These have been very difficult months for Ben and I and we are far from out of the woods, but we have felt the Lord's supporting hand through this. We have also seen his hand blessing us in many other ways. We are grateful for the church and the ward family we have down here in Texas as well as our families in Utah and Idaho that have been praying for us.
